Metodo Classico on Top

The awards ceremony of the second edition of “L’Umbria del vino” was held on Thursday 23 February, in Perugia at the Umbria Chamber of Commerce, which saw our Classic Method on the top step of the podium.

The competition, which was attended by 58 wineries with over 160 labels, was judged by the quality commission made up of expert technical tasters such as oenologists, sommeliers and specialists in the field of communication and catering.

The ceremony was held by President Giorgio Mencaroni and the Secretary Federico Sisti of the Chamber of Commerce of Umbria and also by the Vice President and Regional Councilor for Agriculture Roberto Morroni of the Umbria Region, and Riccardo Cotarella, National and International President of Oenologists and President of the selection board.

Our classic method, obtained with the unique Trebbiano Spoletino grapes in purity, is kept on the lees for al least 38 months that leads to a creamy and persistent perlage, the taste is characterized by citrus notes and hints of small pastries.
